Whimsical Watercolour Mandala Bookmarks Workshop

In this creative and colourful workshop, we’ll be designing bespoke watercolour mandala bookmarks — perfect for gifts, keepsakes or simply enjoying in your favourite book.

We’ll begin by creating soft, expressive watercolour wash backgrounds, building layers of colour and texture. Once the backgrounds are dry, you’ll draw your own unique mandala designs over the top using fine liner pens, combining detail, pattern and flow.

To finish, we’ll mount your artwork onto black cardstock to create a bold contrast and a polished, professional look. I’ll also show you how to create simple handmade tassels to add that extra special finishing touch.

These bookmarks are easy to recreate at home and are a wonderful way to combine watercolour and mandala design in a small, giftable format.

The workshop includes a basic materials kit containing:

• White cardstock
• Pencil
• Black Micron fineliner pen

Coloured brush pens, coloured fineliner pens and Gelly Roll pens will also be available to use during the workshop.

You’re very welcome to bring along any favourite art supplies from home that you’d like to incorporate into your designs.

Additional materials and supplies can be purchased prior to the workshop if required.
