This kit has been designed by a Certified Zentangle Teacher, Zentangle author and artists and includes everything you need to take part in Monthly challenges like Inktober or to simply choose 31 Tangles and Tangle along with Index pages, Daily pages and Notes/Ideas pages in different size journals, black 01 Sakura micron pen, pencil & tortillion with 3 different size journals, large for Apprentice Tangling, medium for Standard size Tiles, and small, for Bijou size Tangling.

I designed & made these journals as I travel a lot & I wanted to take part in monthly challenges like Inktober while I’m away but I always manage to somehow lose or bend my Tiles. I was looking for something that would fit into my hand luggage that I can use on an aeroplane, by the pool but couldn’t find what I was looking for.
Each monthly challenge journal has 20 pages of white 300gsm cardstock and is wire bound enables the journal to open wide and sit flat on a table. The journals have a thick clear 240gsm acetate front & rear cover to offer protection.

The largest ‘Apprentice’ size journal measures 152x148mm, 15.2x14.8cms, 20mm, 2cms thick.
The medium ‘Standard’ Zentangle size journal measures 125x120mm, 12.5x12cm and is 20mm, 2cms thick.
The smallest ‘Bijou’ size Tangling measures 90x80mm, 9x8cms and 20mm, 2cms thick.
The first 3 pages are the “Index” pages with printed sections so you can list the name and the dates of the 31days of chosen Tangles with a “Notes” section on page 4.
Pages 5 to 35 are the “ Daily” Tile printed pages where you can Tangle a new pattern each day of the month. Each page has a square and a headline printed for you to fill in the Tangle name, the Tangle designer or the date.
The final 5 pages at the back of the book are for “Notes” to add any notes, Tangles or ideas.
