Coffee & Tangles Workshop 

Join me for this relaxing 2-hour workshop inspired by two of my favourite things — coffee and tangling.

During the session, we’ll explore how to use coffee to create beautiful organic stains and marks on your Tiles, forming interesting shapes, strings and backgrounds to tangle over. Using a variety of household tools and simple techniques, you’ll experiment with different effects before adding Zentangle-inspired patterns both inside and around the coffee shapes.

I’ll guide you through 3–4 official tangles, along with borders, shading and highlights to help create depth, contrast and dimension within your artwork. By the end of the class, you’ll complete one or two unique Tiles to take home with you.

All coffee, Tiles and additional materials will be provided. Please bring your basic toolkit from previous classes, including:

• Black Micron fine liner pens
• Brown Micron fine liner pens
• White Gelly Roll pen
• Black pencil
• White pencil
• Tortillion/blending stump

These tools are essential for the class.

You’re also very welcome to bring along any favourite pens, pencils or creative supplies you’d like to experiment with.

Additional tools and supplies will be available to purchase on the day if needed.
