Introduction to Celtic Knots

Discover the calming and creative art of Celtic Knots in this relaxing beginner-friendly class. Inspired by traditional Celtic designs, these beautiful flowing patterns are created using continuous interwoven lines with no clear beginning or end, symbolising connection, balance and eternity.

During this session you will learn the foundations of Celtic Knot drawing, including how to create simple woven patterns, understand the structure of knotwork and build flowing designs step-by-step. We will explore grids, borders, line flow, weaving techniques and shading methods to help bring your knotwork to life.

This class is suitable for complete beginners and no previous drawing experience is needed. The focus is on enjoying the creative process, developing confidence and learning how simple repetitive patterns can become relaxing, mindful and rewarding to create.

By the end of the class you will complete one or more Celtic Knot designs to take home and keep.

Class price: £50 per person

Includes selected materials and practice sheets to use during the session.

You are also welcome to bring along any favourite pens, pencils or creative supplies you enjoy working with.
