Wonderful Watercolour Workshop

In this relaxing and colourful 2-hour workshop, we’ll explore how to create beautiful watercolour washes to use as backgrounds for your Zentangle Tiles.

Using white Tiles, you’ll learn how to build soft blends, flowing colour and layered washes that create unique surfaces to tangle on. Once the backgrounds are dry, I’ll guide you through a selection of official tangles, strings and borders, showing you how to combine pattern, colour and shading to create finished pieces full of depth and detail.

Throughout the session, we’ll also experiment with different coloured pens and pencils to enhance your artwork and bring your designs to life.

This class includes all Tiles needed for the workshop, and I will provide the watercolour materials for students to use during the session.

Please remember to bring your basic toolkit from previous classes, including:

• Micron fine liner pen
• Pencil
• Tortillion/blending stump

These tools are essential for the workshop.

You’re also very welcome to bring along any favourite pens, pencils or creative supplies from home that you’d like to experiment with.

Additional tools and supplies will be available to purchase on the day if needed.
