Wishy Washy Watercolour Mandala Workshop

In this colourful and relaxing workshop, we’ll be creating beautiful watercolour washes to use as vibrant backgrounds for your mandala artwork.

During the session, I’ll show you how to use watercolour brush pens to blend and layer colour, creating unique flowing backgrounds full of movement and texture. Once the washes are dry, we’ll draw detailed mandala designs over the top using Micron fineliner pens, combining bold pattern work with soft watercolour effects.

You can choose to leave your finished mandala in classic black linework or add extra colour and detail at home using your own preferred colouring style and supplies.

The workshop includes the materials needed for the session, including:

• White cardstock
• Pencil
• Black Micron fineliner pen

Watercolour brush pens, coloured fineliner pens and Gelly Roll pens will also be available for students to use during the workshop.

You’re very welcome to bring along any favourite pens, pencils or art supplies from home that you’d like to incorporate into your artwork.

Additional materials and supplies can be purchased prior to the workshop if required.
