Tranquil Triangles – 3Z Workshop

This relaxing and creative 2-hour workshop is all about tangling on triangular Zentangle Tiles, known as 3Z Tiles.

During the session, I’ll guide you through creating a Triquetra-inspired string design that flows beautifully across the triangular format. We’ll explore how to tangle both inside and around the shape, using pattern, balance and shading to create depth and movement within your artwork.

I’ll introduce a selection of official tangles and demonstrate techniques that work particularly well on the unique 3Z Tile shape. By the end of the workshop, you’ll complete one or two finished Tiles to take home with you.

To finish the session, we’ll bring everyone’s Tiles together to create a beautiful collaborative mosaic, allowing you to see how each individual design connects as part of a larger piece.

This class includes all 3Z Tiles needed for the workshop.

Please remember to bring your basic toolkit from previous classes, including:

• Micron fine liner pens
• Pencils
• Tortillion/blending stump

These tools are essential for the workshop.

You’re also very welcome to bring along any favourite pens, pencils or creative supplies from home that you’d like to experiment with.

Additional tools and supplies will be available to purchase on the day if needed.
