Pair of 2 square plastic ‘Tic Tac Toe’ grid style reusable plastic stencils for creating Zentangle step out grids and pattern libraries.

These ‘Tic Tac Toe’ grid style plastic stencils have been designed and tested by a Certified Zentangle Teacher with the aim to create uniform ‘step out’ templates and grids for pattern libraries without the need for time consuming measuring and they fit perfectly over the top of the Apprentice and standard size Zentangle Tiles.

These stencils are ideal for using either in a journal, sketchbook or over the top of a Zentangle tile to create a step out grid to fill in your chosen Tangles. You can use both stencils to create your own tangle library.

The outer measurements for both stencils are 140x140mm, 14x14cms.

The larger of the two stencils has 3 parts with an inner square that measures 115x115, 11.5x11.5cms and fits over the top of an Apprentice size tile. There are a further 9 squares spaced out to form a grid pattern with each square measuring 34x34mm, 3.4x3.4cms. Over the top of the grid there is a ‘Title line’ that’s has been cut out so your can include your chosen Tangles name, designer and date which measures 115mm, 11.5cms.

The second stencil has 4 parts with the largest of the inner squares measuring 115x115mm, 11.5x11.5cms which fits over the top of an Apprentice size Zentangle tile. The next size square measures 90x90mm, 9x9cms and fits over the top of a standard size Zentangle tile.
There are a further 9 squares which each measure 24x24mm, 2.4x2.4cms and have been spaced out to form a grid with 3 squares on each row. There is a ‘Title line’ that has been cut out above the grid pattern and measures 90mm, 9cms across where you can fill in your chosen tangles name, designer and date.
