Mesmerising Mosaic Workshop

This creative and collaborative 2-hour workshop is all about creating a beautiful group mosaic using pre-drawn strings that connect together across multiple Tiles.

Each student will work on their own individual Tile while also becoming part of a larger shared artwork. As the pieces come together, you’ll be able to see how your Tile connects with those created by your fellow students to form one striking mosaic design.

During the session, I’ll guide you through a selection of official tangles, strings, borders and shading techniques to help add depth, contrast and flow to your artwork. By the end of the workshop, you’ll complete one or two Tiles to take home, while also contributing to the finished collaborative mosaic.

This class includes all the Tiles needed to create the mosaic.

Please remember to bring your basic toolkit from previous classes, including:

• Micron fine liner pens
• Pencils
• Tortillion/blending stump

These tools are essential for the workshop.

You’re also very welcome to bring along any favourite pens, pencils or creative supplies from home that you’d like to experiment with.

Additional tools and supplies will be available to purchase on the day if needed.
