Complex Compass Rose Mandala Workshop

The compass rose style mandala can look intricate and challenging, as it requires precision, structure and careful measurement — but don’t worry, I’ll guide you through it step by step so you can confidently recreate it at home.

In this workshop, we’ll begin by creating a structured base template on white cardstock. From there, we’ll work slowly and methodically to measure and draw the compass points, building the design layer by layer. I’ll also show you how changing the size and spacing of these points can completely transform the look and feel of your finished mandala.

By the end of the session, you’ll complete a beautifully detailed compass rose mandala to take home, along with the measurements and guidance needed to continue creating your own variations independently.

The workshop includes a basic materials kit containing:

• White cardstock
• Pencil
• Black Micron fineliner pen

You’re also very welcome to bring along any favourite art supplies from home that you’d like to use in your design.
